Cut from Kurashiki canvas, woven in Okayama, Japan and dyed using traditional Japanese binchotan charcoal dyeing, the fabric carries a dense, dry hand with a softened charcoal tone that shifts subtly under light. An enzyme wash softens the surface and introduces a worn in character, giving the fabric a more natural feel while preserving its structure over time.

The silhouette is long, relaxed and understated, designed to drape cleanly through the body with a subtle sense of volume. A generous collar, concealed placket and minimal exterior detailing allow the proportions and fabric to remain the focus. Soft tonal variation created through the binchotan dye process gives each piece a quiet depth that continues to develop with wear.
